Offers a range of services to promote health and wellness in the community.
Provides health promotion, disease prevention, intervention and support services to those living in Campbell River from Oyster River to Sayward, Quadra, Cortes and Read Island. The following services are offered:
  • Right from the Start
  • Prenatal Education is offered online, virtual, and in-person for various classes
  • Breastfeeding classes and support
  • Baby Bed Program
  • Free Kindergarten Hearing Screening is offered to all kindergarten children in the school district.
  • Nurse Family Partnership (NFP) is a free home visitation program for women under 25 years of age having their first baby.
  • Olive Branch is a Postpartum support group for birthing parents experiencing depression, anxiety and/or adjustment challenges in the Postpartum period. Babies under 1 year welcome.
  • BC Early Hearing Program
  • Youth Clinics including Foundry, Timberline & Carihi Secondary Schools, and Robron Centre
  • Immunizations for all ages, including school-based immunization clinics and outreach in the community
  • Dental health programs
  • Adult STI Clinic offers free, confidential treatment & referral for STI for adults over 24 years of age.
