Youth and Family Services - White Rock

Provides one on one support and mediation for youth and families, a Youth Space with groups and activities for youth, parent education groups and more. Services are free, voluntary and confidential.
These services are available to youth and families who reside in the South Surrey/White Rock area. Services available are as follows:

- One-to-One Youth Support (ages 13-18*): Services for youth who would benefit from support, skill-building, access to resources and more, including youth who are street-involved, at-risk, in or from care, or otherwise vulnerable. Areas of support may include education, employment, housing, connecting to mental health supports, coping skills, life skills, social skills, transition to adulthood, increasing connections and access to resources. Parent and caregiver support also provided.
*ages 11-12 by MCFD referral
- One-to-One Family Support (0-13): Up to 6 months of service for families with children and youth who would benefit from individualized information, support and coaching to develop their parenting skills and practices. Areas of support may include child development, effective communication, emotional literacy, challenging behaviours, household management and community connections. Support and resources for parents of older youth can also be provided.
- Parent Education: Positively Parenting, free 4-week series for parents, grandparents and caregivers of children and youth, offered throughout the year. Other parent education programs may also be available. Contact for more information and to be added to the interest list.
