Maxxine Wright Community Health Centre - Surrey
Addictions / Substance Use, Healthcare Providers, and Pregnancy Care
Provided by Atira Women's Resource Society
Provides care to pregnant and early parenting women and their children who are impacted by substance use or violence.
At the time of intake women must be pregnant or have a child under 6 months old, and be impacted by substance use or violence.
Services include:
- Pre and post-natal care
- Opioid treatment
- Primary health care for women and their children
- Counselling
- Immunizations
- Preventive health interventions
Midwifery services are only available to patients who are currently clients of Maxxine Wright clinic. Clients are referred internally and must meet mandate & criteria for Maxxine Wright CHC Midwife services.
No referral required but booked appointments are recommended for intake and most services. Wait time minimal. Hot lunch is served Monday to Friday.
Services are provided in partnership with Fraser Health and the Ministry for Children and Family Development.
