Provides short-term mental health counselling to individuals attached to Surrey and North Delta FPs or NPs
The mental health counselling service is appropriate for those who:
- 19 years or older
- suspected mild-moderate mental health or substance use condition
- requires brief intervention
- cannot access services through other means (ie, private pay, extended health, WSBC, ICBC)
They support patients with mild to moderate Mental Health and/or Substance Use concerns such as:
- anxiety
- depression
- substance use
- postpartum
- relationship problems
- phobias
- life transitions
- psychological issues
- insomnia
- work-related stress
- grief
- interpersonal conflict
- history of aggressive behaviour
Please note the SND PCN services only accept referrals for patients attached to FPs and NPs practicing in Surrey-North Delta.
